Emergency contraception (The Morning After Pill)

If you have had unprotected sex click here for access to the morning after pill.

 

  • Your Local pharmacy may provide the morning after pill up to 5 days after unprotected however it is best to take as soon as possible.
  • Contact your local pharmacy to confirm it is a service they can provide free of charge here
  • You may take a chaperone, a family member or friend with you.
  • Your pharmacist can advise you on the best treatment for you and follow up contraception or refer to local sexual health services.
  • You may be given condoms and a chlamydia kit with your emergency contraception as part your your care.
